Weighing In
The impact of feeling the weight of our bodies is monumental. Weighing can be done anytime, anywhere. As you are reading this, simply allow your attention to notice the weight of your hands. As you come into contact with this feeling of weight, your hands may feel heavier. Being curious we ask ourselves, is this simple thought releasing tension? Do your shoulders now get heavier? What happens when you exhale fully, releasing tension in your belly and chest?
Lifting your hand and arm slightly and then dropping it allows us to feel even more weight. Try it and see if that is true for you. Just think, if we are carrying this weighted body around all day, it is no wonder we are exhausted by the end of the day!
