Movement Improvement #2

Late last fall, I signed up to become an American Lung Association “Better Breathers” support group facilitator. I did this because in 2020 I was diagnosed with COPD, and after 5 years of annual visits to a pulmonologist and some lifestyle changes, my lungs are maintaining the capacity I had 5 years ago, and not worsening as I was afraid. I have been able to better manage my chronic bronchitis with diet and exercise and supplements to improve my immune system. I have fewer down days with bronchitis, and have increased my capacity for exercise.

If your breath has diminished over time, due to any reason, I welcome you to join any of the 3 new groups I am starting, one online in 2 weeks, and the other two are in Columbus this fall. Having a local, in-person group will help me and others to look beyond the diagnosis given to us and start moving again. Breathing together is where we will start. All levels are welcome, including those on oxygen.

Zoom meet up: Better Breathers, July 25th 11-12 pm
